My name is Itay Avtalyon and I'm from Israel. I was born in Tel Aviv, but at the age of four, I moved with my family to Israel's beautiful countryside, where I live to this day. I'm a Village Boy from head to toe (and some say it shows; I take it as a compliment).
I was a counselor in my local Youth Movement for three years and my high school electives were physics and computer science. Went to the university for a year [a degree in economics and logistics] and also to an acting school in the city of Tel Aviv.
I'm interested in computers and Internet, especially in web site building and some programming. Some times I build web sites for others, but mostly I work on my own site -- one that is dedicated to helping students with their schoolwork.
In my spare time, I like to read [eitehr books or online fiction], watch TV [BitTorrent Rules!] or watch movies at the cinema or on DVD at home.
I started this LiveJournal especially for my trip to the US [I'm going to be camp counselor at a camp in PA]. I figured that a blog is the best way to keep in touch with my family and friends considering the limited time I'm probably going to have at the camp.
